Candice is the principal lawyer at Candice Scott Legal.
She is a current Council member of the Law Society of South Australia.
As a lawyer, Candice has a wealth of experience in Wills & Estates, succession planning/asset protection, commercial law, complex settlement negotiations and estate litigation.
Candice is also passionate about advocating for members of society who are vulnerable and marginalised.
Candice has experience appearing for clients in courts and tribunals, and giving advice regarding tribunal matters and administrative review.
Candice’s work history is long and varied, having had her first job at 17 when she finished school. She hails from a long line of hoteliers - including international, country and city hotels. She spent most of her childhood weekends at the beach on Yorke Peninsula, or in country South Australia in Hawker or Marree where her father owned hotels.
Prior to a career in law, Candice worked in small and large businesses as a software installer and trainer and data analyst for companies selling fast moving consumer goods (FMCG). She lived in Sydney during this time but returned to Adelaide to study law. Candice completed a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice (Honours) at Flinders University, and is admitted as a barrister and solicitor in the Supreme Court of South Australia.
Candice is dedicated to helping her clients and she takes an objective approach in understanding both sides of an argument so she can find the best approach for each of her clients.
